Request an Amazon book that is not on Learnerbly

Recommend a resource that is not on Learnerbly to be added to our catalogue

❗️Important note: The option "Request a book that's on Amazon" is only available for users that are in these regions:

  • 🇬🇧 The UK

  • 🇺🇸 USA

  • 🇩🇪 Germany

  • 🇪🇸 Spain

On the platform, we have thousands of resources to choose from—from conferences to coaching, online courses, podcasts, and much more!

From the Explore page of the Learnerbly platform, you can use the Discover tab to see which resources are currently trending for your company, such as resources we've added recently, as well as personalised recommendations based on what and how you like to learn. However, if you don't find what you are looking for, and you would like to request an Amazon book (not Kindle), you can do so by following these simple steps:

First, navigate to your Profile Picture, which is located in the top right corner of the Learnerbly platform. Click on it to open the dropdown menu.

At the bottom of the list, you will find the option "Resource not on Learnerbly?". Click on it to proceed to the next step.

After clicking on Resource not on Learnerbly? you will see the following option:


Note on cross-region requests: Due to logistics and region restrictions, it's not possible to make cross-region requests. Apologies for the inconvenience caused.

The Amazon URL link should meet the criteria below in order for our system to accept your request:

  • The book should be dispatched and sold by Amazon.

  • The URL page of the book is complete and valid. We suggest copying the URL link of the book from Amazon results.

  • The ASIN code for the particular book should be ALL numeric.

  • The delivery date should NOT be more than 2 weeks.

  • The book is "In Stock".

  • The book is NEW. (We don't fulfill USED book)

  • The book is either Paperback or Hardcover only.

  • The book is NOT pre-order.

  • The URL link you are inserting is associated with the content region assigned to you. (e.g your geographic region is in the UK, then the URL link should be from Amazon UK)

Copy and paste the right Amazon link for the format and book you want. You can also double-check in this step the book and the format you are suggesting:

If everything is fine, click on the "Looks good! Let's continue" button.

💡Note: If you encounter an error, it might be for the following reasons:

  • The book is out of stock: If so, please make sure the book you are trying to request is "In stock" and not limited.

  • The linked Amazon item is only available through the Marketplace/third-party seller and is not fully sold and dispatched by Amazon: Our system cannot automatically fulfil book from a 3rd party seller.

  • The book is "used": We cannot order second-hand/used books. We are only able to accept new books from Amazon.

  • Some information is missing from your shipping address: Please make sure to input your complete information, such as; House/flat number, street, postcode, city, country and your phone number.

  • The book is pre-order: We can only fulfill books that are available for immediate purchase.

  • Some formats have ASIN codes that consist of letters: On Learnerbly, the Amazon ASIN (Amazon Standard Identification Number) field is set to accept only fully numeric values because of how our system validates and communicates with the Amazon API or internal catalog database. If an ASIN contains letters, it may cause the request to fail or prevent the resource from being correctly recognized or linked to the right product in Amazon’s catalog.

  • The delivery is more than 2 weeks: Our system only accept request for Amazon books that can be delivered within 2 weeks. This is to ensure that the book will deliver to you safely and smooth as possible.

  • The system marked the book as unable to fulfill: Please note that our system is synced with Amazon’s inventory in real time. Example: a book may appear available on Amazon’s page, but it’s actually not live or in stock from their warehouse, this can cause the Amazon URL you’re submitting to be rejected by our system. We recommend trying again the next day or after a few days — as availability on Amazon often changes.

On the next page, you’ll be able to send a message to your approver or manager. Before submitting, please double-check all details carefully — once your request is approved, it will automatically be sent to Amazon for purchase. At that point, we cannot modify your address or phone number, and we can only request to cancel the order if needed. Please also note that any resources outside of Learnerbly will require manual approval from your approver.

If you need to update your address, only click on "Change address".

By default, your request will be shown to your colleagues at your organisation. If you don't wish to share this, only turn off the button "I’m happy for this request to be shown to others at (the name of your company)"

Done! You will receive a confirmation email letting you know that your request is 'confirmed' and awaiting approval from your manager. Once it’s approved, our system will purchase the book for you, and it will be on its way! If the book hasn’t arrived a few days after the purchase date, please don’t hesitate to reach out to our support team — we’ll be happy to assist.
