Why do my requests keep getting canceled? What seems to be the problem?
If you're in Germany or Spain, we've noticed more book cancellations lately because of limits on shipments across borders. These cancellations happen mostly when Amazon's stock runs out locally, as they don't ship items outside the EU. Usually, we give up to 5 working days for a book to be sent out. If it can't be sent within that time, we'll cancel the order and refund you.
To have more information about this, please check this article.
I received a notification that my book was canceled because it's out of stock / the delivery date is more than 2 weeks / Pre-purchase, but it's not what it says from Amazon when I checked it. What am I missing here?
When the system was in the process of purchasing the request, that particular resource could be either of the following at that time:
Incomplete address
Delivery time was more than 2 weeks.
Pre-purchase/order.
Out of stock.
The book is sold by a 3rd party seller.
If it's not available at the moment to purchase, the system cancels your request automatically and refunds your credits immediately.
Amazon's information on the book and availability are very dynamic and our prices/stock and information shown on the platform are not live, so it constantly restocks and updates its inventory or information with no prior notice. If you see that the book meet the criteria, please feel free to request it again.
Is there any way I can track the delivery of my book?
At the moment we don't have an automatic system that sends you a tracking number/info for your request. The tracking status of your request is managed manually by our team when requested by the user. Should you need further information, please feel free to contact us.
Is it possible to use someone else's details to receive my book?
Our policy prohibits using anyone else's information, and we only handle requests on behalf of the user. Therefore, all the details we use belong to the learner.
I'm currently outside of my country, can I request a book and deliver it to my current address?
If you are planning to move (regardless if it is business or personal travel) for more than a month to one of the following countries:
🇬🇧 United Kingdom
🇺🇸 United States
🇩🇪 Germany
🇪🇸 Spain
🇸🇪 Sweden
🇳🇱 Netherlands
🇨🇦 Canada
Please ask the Admin of your organization to change your content region so you can still request physical books based on your temporary content region. Don't forget to reach out to your Admin to change back your content region once you are back to your permanent geographic location to avoid any issues on requesting from our platform.
Important Note: You’re unable to request physical books if you’re outside the specified content regions. Additionally, we can’t change your content region just to allow a book request if you’re not physically located within those regions.
I'm not available to collect the book at my address when it arrives, can you please postpone it?
We don't have a system to postpone or hold requests once they enter our fulfillment pipeline. Approved requests are promptly processed for immediate purchase by our system. Consider informing a fellow resident or neighbor about the expected package. Alternatively, if no one can collect the request, we'll make an effort to cancel it on Amazon as per your request.
I want to update my shipping address. How can I do that?
Upon approval of your request, it will be automatically sent to Amazon for purchase. Unfortunately, we cannot modify any of the information you provided, including the delivery address. Nevertheless, there are situations in which we can cancel the order, specifically if the book has not been dispatched. Please contact us immediately, and we will make every effort to cancel your request with Amazon. Subsequently, you can initiate a new request for the book with the correct address.
For more information about updating the shipping address, please visit our article here: Update Shipping Address.
I want to return the book, how can I do that?
The book should not be more than 14 days old from the date of purchase. Depending on your area, you might have two options on how to return it, either the pick-up or drop-off. You need to contact us so we can request a return confirmation from the provider.
Drop off: Amazon will give you an option on where to drop off the item based on their instructions. The book should be well packed and we will send you a return label for you to print out or a QR code.
Pick up: The courier will provide a return label for you and will pick up the item.
Note: These two return options depend on the return policy of what Amazon region you are located in. This can take up to 15 working days to be completed, depending on the times of shipping and such.
Why it is taking time to receive my book?
Once you receive a notification from us that we have successfully purchased your book, you should receive it in not more than 10 days. Please confirm if you have already checked with another resident at your address, in your mailbox, with your next-door neighbors, or in the reception if you have.
If you still haven't received or found your book after checking it as we suggested and one week has already passed, please contact us so we can reach out to the provider to find a solution. If you fail to report any missing orders or book issues within 30 days, Amazon won't be able to provide a replacement or refund for your book, in accordance with their policy.
If you're in Germany or Spain, delivery might take longer, or the status may stay the same due to limitations on cross-border shipments. This often happens when Amazon's local stock runs out, as they don't ship items outside the EU. Typically, we allow up to 5 working days for a book to be shipped. If it's not sent within that time, we’ll cancel the order and issue a refund.
Can I request a used / secondhand book?
We are only able to purchase new books from Amazon.
Can I include an additional note for the delivery of my book?
Unfortunately, there’s no option to add special delivery instructions, as Amazon books are automatically purchased through our system using the address you provided. We strongly recommend ensuring that your address is complete to help guarantee the book is delivered safely to your doorstep.
Why the price of the book now more expensive from Amazon than what I requested?
We try our best to reflect our providers’ prices as accurately as possible. However, Amazon books in our platform are not live and prices may change from time to time without prior notice. In case the price of the book is higher from Amazon, we will cancel and refund the request.
Why my book was canceled?
These are some of the reasons why your book was canceled:
The book isn't "dispatched and sold" by Amazon.
The delivery date is more than 2 weeks.
The book is out of stock.
The book is currently available via 3rd party seller / Marketplace. We cannot purchase books that are not sold and dispatched by Amazon itself (i.e. Marketplace and 3rd parties) as they are not reliable and do not always offer consistent shipping.
Your delivery address might be incorrect due to the auto-fill information tool of your device. Please double-check that your delivery address is correctly input. For more information about updating your delivery address, please click 👉 here.
Fail to dispatch the item/ Logistics issues from Amazon.
The book is damaged or lost in transit.
Incomplete address
For more information, please visit our article for cancelled requests.
The book is quite expensive and exceeds my budget, what should I do?
You can get in touch with the admin of your organization to top you up with an extra budget. Otherwise, your approver won't be able to authorize your request.
I tried to request a book from Amazon using your feature "Resource, not on Learnerbly" but it's not working.
The URL link of the Amazon book should meet the criteria:
The book should be "dispatched and sold" by Amazon.
The URL page of the book should be complete and valid.
The delivery date should not be more than 2 weeks.
The book is "In Stock".
The ASIN code of the book is fully numeric.
The book is NEW.
The Amazon URL link should match your content region (e.g., If you're from the UK, then the Amazon URL link should be from Amazon UK).
